About Me

Joshua J. Mark, former part-time professor at Marist College, is an editor/director and writer for the online history site Ancient History Encyclopedia. His creative non-fiction has also appeared in a number of Chicken Soup for the Soul anthologies, travel/historical pieces in Timeless Travels, Litro UK, and History Ireland magazines, and his short fiction published through Writes for All Magazine, Litro USA, and other periodicals. His wife and soul-mate, Betsy Mark, passed over to the other side on 4 August 2018 but continues to live on with him and his daughter Emily in Staatsburg, NY.

This website was created to share some of the stories of Betsy’s various antics and visitations, showcase older published short fiction, and present some tales and poems which have never found a home.
